What you can expect

I talk a lot about Discover Clinton because I think it's a great example of both how I advocate for Clinton and my work ethic, even as a volunteer.

Discover Clinton is a non-profit group whose goal is to increase economic growth by promoting our great dining, shopping, arts, culture and recreation. They also host community events and provided info and valuable resources, including grants, to our small businesses. 

These are my contributions.

• Spent many days and hours researching mill town revitalizations, rebuilding small towns, promoting local downtown events, etc. I actively compile information and note ideas to strategize what I think will bring people into Clinton now and in the future.

• Provide my services as a marketing consultant and a writer to help build the website and promote Discover Clinton's public relations efforts.

• Creates a Slack channel so volunteers can communicate better, share ideas and save research.

• Developed social media plans and took photos to be used for Discover Clinton efforts.

• Help generate ideas to support business impacted by Covid-19.

This is the type of work effort you can expect from me as a Select Board member, but on a broader and more comprehensive scale. Whatever the topic or issue, you can find me listening to other ideas, organizing and researching to work with people on the best way to move Clinton forward.
