My Senior Center tour

I reached out to the Senior Center to learn more about their programs and the types of issues facing citizens in Clinton, even the dark things no one talks about. Thanks to Deb Goodsell for the wonderful tour and taking the time to meet with me.

I learned a lot and I think it’s important to always be learning and listening.

When I admitted that I sometimes sit in their pavilion when they are closed and have my coffee, she insisted that I use the beautiful porch. The building is such an iconic piece of our town. I headed down there yesterday to enjoy a peaceful moment before the busy pre-election days begin.

Hope to see my new friends from the Senior Center on Monday’s 6/14 Election Day.
