Our favorite Navy veteran

My husband Chad served in the United States Navy. Even though Memorial Day is about remembrance, it also feels important to acknowledge those willing to serve.

Chad also worked at the Northampton veterans services office (similar to the one here in Clinton) while attending UMass.

As the spouse of a veteran, I’ve been able to take free classes and receive a certificate in Front End Web Development (website and email coding), which was very beneficial in my career, thanks to VetsinTech.co. They provide active military, veterans and spouses with education, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.

I'm grateful for the services and opportunities provided to veterans and my family. We always try and give back to these organizations, too. And I'm always volunteering him to speak to high schoolers considering military service.

Here we are celebrating our favorite sailor a few years ago. His birthday is on June 14th (Flag Day) which also happens to be the day of our election. Big day for the Perusses!
